Dr. Ervin Moung
and this is my personal website for things related to research and teaching activities.
About Me
Currently I am a Senior Lecturer in Faculty of Computing and Informatics, Universiti Malaysia Sabah.
I received my Bachelor of Computer Engineering, Master of (Computer) Engineering, and PhD in Computer Engineering from Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) in 2008, 2013, and 2018 respectively.
Currently, I am working as a Senior Lecturer for Data Science Program in Faculty of Computing & Informatics, UMS.
My research interest generally falls under the category of Computer Vision & Pattern Recognition. Such as;
(i) Image processing
(ii) Object detection
(iii) Image segmentation
(iv) Big data analytics
(v) Vision based learning
(vi) Image classification
Currently, my domain of interest includes:
– Public Health & Smart Health
– Agriculture & Food Security
– Biodiversity & Environmental Sustainability.
